★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The most horrible hospice company that i've ever encountered. Where to start:1. My 97 year husband had an infection. It was brought up to their attention. Their nurse said they were "normal symptoms" and didnt report it to the doctor and he passed away as a result.2. Their nurse on her first home visit, didnt check his wound so i had to call her to come back and clean it and she was upset and rude.3. The nurse used my bathroom and was on her period and bled all over my bathroom and the a mess for us to clean up and rather than apologize, she was rude. I would have been mortified.3. Regarding supplies, they sent 1-3 boxes of gloves per month, sent opened packets of bed liners, and it took forever to get supplies.4. My husband got worse so I had to call his own GP to get help and it was the GP who diagnosed my husband with CDIFF. It was July 3rd and Richard Yaenik was on vacation and his nurse on call acted like i was bothering him because husband needed antibiotics very badly and no one from the hospice company would help me over the July 4th weekend. By July 6th my husband died and Richard called on Monday right after the weekend and was rude and annoyed that he was bothered by his staff. To make matters worse, NO ONE PERSON CALLED ME when he passed away to offer their condolences. So when they tell you that they provide service 24/7 DO NOT believe them. Please go to any other hospice company but this one. My biggest regret is using them because i believe they are partly responsible for my poor husband's passing.
September 30 · Barb BI had to fly from Australia suddenly when my brother was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer. After reviewing our options, he decided he did not want any more hospital visits or treatments. A wonderful friend, that is a hospice volunteer in Washington called a few places on my behalf and said she had a very good feeling after talking to Richard at Assisted. Her instincts were correct. The whole team was kind, compassionate, helpful and addressed my concerns swiftly. It was a very sad and stressful time but Assisted's 24 hour availability helped me through the process. I know they did everyting in their power to keep my brother comfortable during his last days. This was a very professional, efficent but caring team.
July 02 · Susan McMurrayI had my left knee replaced in June of 2023 and was so fortunate to have had Emily Laird as my in-home physical therapist. Emily was so helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, empathetic, kind, compassionate and patient. She really helped me so very much during the first six weeks after my surgery. I always looked forward to her visits and she always challenged me to exercise, encouraged me to keep moving and pushed me to continue to improve. I trusted her expertise and respected her experience and knowledge. She is an amazing physical therapist and human being and anyone would be fortunate to have her helping them. Thank You So Much Emily !!!!!! You made a difference in my life !!!!!!!!
September 07 · Tom LockyerAssisted Home Health Los Angeles administrative and field staff have been truly amazing caring for my father. My father has had cardiac and stroke disease resulting in PT and OT needs. Recently my mom needed help with bath care and it feels great to truly trust staff to care for dad at home. He continues to be motivated and in optimal health with support care from Assisted. Special thank you to Marc Branch Manager, Lena Home Health Director, and Mariana RN Clinical Supervisor for overall management of dad's care needs. Another special thank you to Brian PT and Sarah OT (dad's favs).
September 11 · Chelsey BurkeAssisted Living Home Health Care helped me at home when I left the hospital for a few weeks. I can't say enough about all three who helped me: the RN was super knowledgeable, the Physical and Occupational therapists helped me get back on my feet quickly - all 3 far superior to other private home care workers our family has had before. I would definitely recommend them!
