Please be aware of American Care Service Inc, in Cerritos CA.I used American Care Services for hospice care for my mother in law.The caregivers we wonderful to my mother in law in her time of need for 24/7 care. They also helped me thru a difficult time when I lost my mother in law.As the final invoice was sent to me I sent a check for the final payment. Check was deposited in American Care Service account.I was then called by the account representative the same day check was deposited. "stating their bank had advised that if my check bounced, their bank would not reimburse American Care Services for the funds" The check was given back to theaccount representative, but keep in mind their bank ran the check as a deposit and cleared my account 1st check. Even though the bank did not have a physical check they still cleared the check without me knowing.So I thought American Care Services need to be paid, I asked the representative to bring the 1st check back and I will write you a new check under another account.Representative deposited 2nd check and I check my account the next day and both checks have cleared to pay the one invoice.I was in contact with the representative, (yes, I should of been calling the company) and I have been given every excuse as to why they cannot return my money this has been going on for a month.I called my bank and was told by an account representative. that this is fraud. I also been told by the account representative at American Care Services its out of his hands It's in some other departments hand. I have asked for names and phone numbers with no luck. This issue has now gone on for a month.Yes, I was naïve and should of handled the situation sooner.Please be aware when choosing American Care Services, Inc. for care for your love ones.
