Assisted Home Health and Hospice Introduce
Welcome to the detailed guide for California residents seeking information on Assisted Home Health and Hospice, a key provider of in-home medical and comfort care services in the greater Mission Hills area. For many families in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys, finding a reliable, compassionate, and professional service to care for a loved one at home is a top priority. Assisted Home Health and Hospice has established a long-standing reputation for offering experienced and personalized care since 1989. They specialize in a wide spectrum of services, ranging from skilled medical assistance and recovery support after an illness or surgery to comforting end-of-life care and general caregiver support. Their primary goal is to empower patients to age in place with dignity and independence, ensuring they receive high-quality care wherever they call home—be it a private residence, an assisted living facility, or a nursing home.
The organization’s dual focus on both home health care and hospice services means they can address a diverse array of patient needs. Home health care involves skilled medical services often covered by Medicare and other insurances, designed for individuals recovering from injury or illness who require services like skilled nursing or physical therapy. Hospice care, on the other hand, shifts the focus from curative treatment to comfort and quality of life for those with a serious, life-limiting illness, treating the person and symptoms rather than the disease itself. This comprehensive approach, delivered by a dedicated team of professionals, ensures that patients and their families receive holistic support during complex health journeys.
Assisted Home Health and Hospice's Mission Hills office serves as a central hub for providing in-home care across numerous communities in Southern California, particularly the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys. This strategic location ensures that their professional teams can efficiently reach residents requiring their services.
The physical office is conveniently located at:
10550 Sepulveda Blvd Suite 116, Mission Hills, CA 91345.
For California residents who may need to visit the office or simply want peace of mind regarding physical access, the facility is designed with accessibility in mind. The location includes a wheelchair accessible entrance and a wheelchair accessible parking lot, demonstrating a commitment to accommodating all visitors and family members. While the services are primarily delivered in the patient's home, the accessibility of their main office reflects an overall dedication to inclusive care.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It’s taken me a bit to write this but I cannot be anymore thankful for this entire company from the home health to the hospice they handled my dad’s care so well. Unfortunately he passed 5/31/25 but I must say that I got so lucky with my dad’s hospice team, I was informed every step of the way, and always felt like they deeply cared for him till his last breath. I am forever indebted to Bobby RN for going above and beyond, advocated for my dad like his life depended on it, he was so knowledgeable and used every second as a teaching moment and he is so missed in this household. Luisa, what a saint, so caring, makes me cry to think of how well she took care of my dad. Like if she was taking care of her own dad, my dad loved seeing her and made my mom feel at peace. Dolores thank you for advocating and listening. Thank you for always being there to listen and making me feel so comforted in the hardest moments in my life. I would choose this entire team a million times over, the on call nurses were always so quick to show up even for the most minor of inconveniences. Thank you Bobby for becoming part of the family even for a short time, you made it a whole lot better.
June 23 · Valerie MenaMy husband has been on hospice care for eight months and I can’t say enough about the personnel we have interacted with during this time. So professional and caring. There is one outstanding nurse that went beyond the standard. RN Karoline Bigelm is not only professional and caring but very intuitive and interacting; one of those rare nurse that goes beyond the norm. She found my husbands breathing problems were related to anxiety and fear of death. She put us in touch with Abish our second angle. Between them they have improved my husbands quality of life and his attacks are much fewer. We are so happy to have this pair at our home. In fact we would adopt them if possible. Thanks for everything!!!
April 26 · Barbara KuberryOur team was professional, loving, caring and compassionate. We were blessed to work with a regular care team that was 5 star, but as we transitioned to 24 hour care, we encountered a couple of exceptions (3.5-4 star), but even they could not diminish the exceptional standards set forth by the rest of the team. I will be forever grateful for the services Assisted provided that allowed our mom to be surrounded by love and to stay in her home. Special thanks to our Assisted family: Dr Mobasseri, Nurses: Lisa, Amanda, Cathy, Molly, and Cheryl. Natalie our soc worker, Corine, our spiritual warrior and Zulma for her caring hands. I could not have helped my mom transition from home without your help. Prayers of gratitude, blessings and strength to all of you for your continued great work. With Love,Vicki
November 07 · vicki sanchezI cannot say enough good things about the care my mother and our family received from our Assisted team as my mom ended her journey on earth. In a comparatively short time, Nurse Kelly, Judy, Dalia, and Betsy became a part of our family, always in contact with us and supporting my mom. They treated her with compassion and respect and allowed her to pass with a maximum of dignity. Having just switched from a horrendous experience with Vitas Hospice, the time spent with Assisted was like a godsend. I highly recommend Assisted for the care of your loved ones, when hospice care becomes necessary.
January 11 · Nancy FThe visiting nurse who has assisted me, Corrieann, is very efficient, observant, and pleasant to work with. She has assisted in connecting with the prescribing doctor and facilitating services. She brings sense of calm assurance that assists in quick healing.
