Calipso Home Health Care Inc Introduce
For California families in the Northridge and surrounding areas of the San Fernando Valley, securing compassionate, professional, and certified medical care for a loved one at home is essential for recovery and quality of life. Calipso Home Health Care Inc stands as a premier provider of Medicare-certified home health services, offering a comprehensive suite of skilled medical and rehabilitative care delivered right to the patient’s residence. This approach allows individuals to heal and manage chronic conditions in the comfort and familiarity of their own environment, which is often crucial for a faster and more effective recovery.
Home health care is distinctly different from non-medical home care; it involves skilled medical services provided by licensed professionals under a physician's prescribed plan of care. Calipso Home Health Care Inc focuses on this skilled level of support, which is typically needed after a hospital stay, surgery, stroke, or when a person is managing complex medical conditions suchibilities as diabetes or heart failure. The core mission is not just to treat an illness or injury, but to stabilize the patient’s condition, manage symptoms, and restore their independence and function.
The feedback from the community highlights the agency’s deep commitment to a supportive, family-centered approach to care. One grateful family shared their experience, noting, “Calipso Home health and the team were very loving and kind. It felt like I was dealing with family. Top notch care on my grandfather’s needs. The nurses and Apple made sure that we were getting the best care possible with constant follow up.” Another review reinforced this sentiment, stating, “Calipso Health Care showed the real meaning of care and love and respect. I will always be grateful.” This blending of high-level professional care with genuine warmth and respect is a hallmark of the service provided.
The agency’s professional team includes registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and dedicated office workers, all committed to a multi-disciplinary approach. This teamwork ensures that medical, physical, and emotional needs are addressed collaboratively, providing a cohesive and continuously monitored care experience for patients and their families throughout the Northridge community and beyond.

Families can use these contacts to initiate services for post-hospitalization care, long-term chronic condition management, or specialized rehabilitation for themselves or a loved one. The professional staff are the primary point of contact for physicians and hospital discharge teams to ensure a smooth transition to home care.
What truly sets Calipso Home Health Care Inc apart for California users is the unique combination of certified clinical expertise and profound emotional support. As a Medicare-certified agency, they meet the rigorous standards necessary to provide skilled services like Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy, along with expert Nursing Care, which is a fundamental requirement for patients needing post-acute or complex chronic care. This certification ensures a level of accountability and quality that is non-negotiable for medical care.
However, the difference-maker is the agency's human element. Patient testimonials repeatedly use terms like "loving and kind," "dealing with family," and "real meaning of care and love and respect." In the often-clinical world of medical care, this level of attested compassion signifies an agency that prioritizes the patient's dignity and emotional well-being alongside their physical health. The ability of the staff to establish this level of trust is critical for recovery, especially for extended care situations like those mentioned in the review concerning a grandparent’s long-term needs.
Furthermore, the reported dedication to logistics, such as the proactive assistance with necessary medical equipment—oxygen, wheelchairs, and hospital beds—removes a significant burden from family caregivers. This all-encompassing support, from complex nursing procedures and specialized rehabilitation therapy down to the essential needs of personal hygiene and equipment access, makes Calipso Home Health Care Inc an invaluable partner in managing healthcare at home. For families in Northridge and the greater region, choosing Calipso is choosing an agency recognized for its comprehensive care, professional team, and deeply compassionate service culture.

August 05 · marnellie benar sadriThey have been great. They have been taking care of my mom and dad since last year. The nurses, physical therapist, occupational therapist and office workers have been amazing.
April 10 · Liliana LopezYesterday my mother's Doctor put in the request for home health care. Apple from Calipso called me and asked me to sign forms. I suggested that when the nurse visits my mom she could have her sign and to leave copies for me to look at. After hanging up with her, I decided to read the reviews about them because something seemed off. I then found out they have a 2 Star. I tried calling Apple 5 minutes latter, she wouldn't answer. I then texted her with my concern, she stated don't worry we will do our best the reviews don't mean much. I kept on emphasizing that it was necessary for a bathing nurse to come put today and she kept emphasizing that the documents had to be signed. They sent a So called nurse to have my 86 year old mom sign the papers. The "NURSE" didn't not clean her wounds like I asked or do anything for that manner. I kept calling and texting Apple, she would not respond. This company is a Scam! I texted Apple to discharge my mom a few hours after their service. She did not respond. I called several times, she declined my calls. Wow! I will follow up and make sure this "Company" does not charge my mom's insurance because it's Fraud. Anyone looking for home health care spare yourself from dealing with these people. They are not professional and just want to bill the insurance. Even though, I told them to come at 2, they showed up at 1 30 for her signatures. I'm amazed how these people are in business. The nerve of telling me to give them a chance, I should have went with my gut instincts
July 12 · miranda morganBeing my gramas caregiver I was extremely stressed knowing she was about to have surgery and and need a lot care and treatment for her wound. But all my stress went away when I was highly recommended by the surgeon and the hospital to Calipso. They got in touch with me 2 days before she was gna go home and set everything up. They were extremely professional and comforting. My grama was home Saturday night, and the nurse came for her evaluation the following morning. She scheduled for all the visits to take place and I was very happy. All the nurses came on time and brought all the supplies needed to take care of grandma. Her sound healed perfectly. The doctor was amazed at how fast and nice the wound went away. Was very pleased with their services. Thanks again to all the staff!
November 02 · Andy MartinSo today we found out not from the home health agent but our primary care physician calipso call them told them the nurse is going out on emergency leave that we will need to find someone for next week. Lucky for them I call the pcp and talk to them and ask what's going on the agency themselves told me to that they ask the pcp to find another home health agency because we are out of the area when they have been coming for the past 2 to 3 weeks if they knew our address why not say something from the beginning they are unprofessional and just worried about their paycheck. And not patients they should be shot down or sued until they know how it feels to not get paid for something they are not doing and don't care for it and let's see what happens
