Sea Crest Home Health Services, Inc. Introduce
For California families in Orange County facing the critical need for advanced home-based care—whether it’s short-term skilled medical assistance or compassionate end-of-life support—Sea Crest Home Health Services, Inc. in Costa Mesa stands out as a highly trusted local resource. Founded in 2002 by local healthcare professionals, the company was established with the clear mission of offering a high-quality, professional, and personalized care experience for those managing chronic or terminal illnesses. Operating as both a Medicare-certified Home Health Agency and a comprehensive Hospice provider, Sea Crest is dedicated to ensuring patients receive clinical excellence and comfort in the place they call home.
The agency’s dual focus allows them to provide a continuum of care, supporting both patients needing acute, short-term skilled care to recover from an illness or injury, and patients who have transitioned to hospice and require comfort-focused symptom management. This integrated approach, focused on what is broadly categorized as Aged Care, is delivered by a diverse team of licensed professionals committed to exceeding community standards for quality and personalized service.
What truly sets Sea Crest apart, according to local California families, is the genuine compassion and high level of attention paid to each individual. As one family member shared in a heartfelt review, their mother with late-stage Alzheimer's showed immediate improvement—"softer skin, more hydrated, fresh and clean"—shortly after the Sea Crest team took over from a previous provider. This speaks volumes about the detailed, patient-centric care model and the dedication of the staff. The commitment to "inclusive team effort" and immediate responsiveness to issues is a hallmark of their operation, providing essential peace of mind during deeply challenging times.

As a licensed and Medicare-certified organization, Sea Crest Home Health Services, Inc. provides a robust and comprehensive range of services tailored to meet complex health needs in the home environment. Their offerings fall into two main categories: Home Health (focused on recovery and rehabilitation) and Hospice Care (focused on comfort and quality of life).

- Seamless Teamwork and Communication: Families consistently highlight the "inclusive team effort" and "open communication" between Sea Crest, the patient's facility (if applicable), and the family itself. This coordination is essential for complex care, ensuring that everyone is on the same page for optimal patient well-being.

This is evident in the noticeable improvement in patient well-being, such as the improved physical condition of the patient with Alzheimer's mentioned in a customer testimonial.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My mom's facility recommended Sea Crest to us, after noticing that our other hospice company was falling far short and the manager thought we could do better. We are so grateful for this, the entire staff we have dealt with at Sea Crest has been amazing. They are kind, compassionate, and have improved the daily life of my mom, who is with late stage Alzheimer's. Shortly after they took over, I noticed how much better she was looking - softer skin, more hydrated, fresh and clean, and so on. Obviously they pay much more attention to her than the previous, big name firm did. (Starts with a "V" ) If I have an issue, it is listened to, handled, and corrected immediately. It's hard when care is shared between a facility and a hospice team, and to know who is responsible for what, (for both positive and negative) but they have worked so well with each other in regards to my mom's care, with open communication between the facility, Sea Crest, and my sister and myself - it is a much more inclusive team effort that we had ever known was possible while with the other hospice company. I highly recommend Sea Crest, they truly do care about our loved ones, and the time they have left here with us. Great company, 👍🏻
September 30 · Mo RunolfsonI cannot say enough great things about the staff. My mom came home on hospice on Monday. My sisters and I will be forever grateful to them. Jenny came out and was incredibly helpful and kind. Rochelle, the social worker is beyond caring! Her and Jenny made sure to take the time to answer any questions, gave us resources, and just seemed to genuinely care about us. Our last nurse Rae Lyn, was truly a blessing to have here during my moms last moments. Thank you for making these last few days with my mom as least stressful as possible.
October 03 · Jessica ReevesSea Crest is amazing and wonderful. They took outstanding care of my mother during her long slow decline. They provided heathcare support and so much more. We will never forget their caring attitude and willingness to help my mom and her family.
May 26 · Laura CoatyI do not recommend this place. First of all, I am a hospice nurse so I know how nurses are suppose to treat their patients and they treated me extremely poorly. If I treated my patients half the way they treated me, I would be fired immediately. Anyways, I needed home health services after having a major surgery that had gone wrong. This surgery was so major and went so poorly that I was bed-ridden for 6 months. I needed A LOT of help. They get the job done but they are lazy and liars and condescending and the job gets done at their pace, not when/if you need supplies. If you ask questions, they talk to you in a harsh and condescending tone. My nurse told me she ordered my supplies immediately after leaving my house but I know that’s not true because when I spoke to the office they said the order was placed the following day at 3pm. My nurse knew I was short on supplies so I had to pay a friend to go out and get supplies for me when all this should be covered by insurance. Every single time I texted my nurse (which she told me to do when I need something) or had to speak to the office, I was treated extremely poorly and like a nuisance to them. This is not how nurses should behave towards their patients. Sea Crest needs to get a handle on things and treat their patients with more respect and dignity. I would be fired immediately if I did half of the things they did to me. Also, the nurse tried to blame me for “stealing” her wedding ring. She kept saying she left it at my house on the table, which she did not because I saw her put it back on after she took her gloves off. The reason I even noticed her put her ring back on is because her wedding ring is a huge piece of turquoise (2 inches long) so that’s not something that is easily missed. But still, me and my mom searched all weekend to make sure I wasn’t mistaken. The nurse came back on Monday and I asked her if she ever found her ring to which she replied that she left it at another patients house. I had texted her multiple times that I didn’t believe it was at my house and told her over and over that I was searching and she never responded. She should have told me she found it 30 minutes after blaming me so I didn’t spend Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday morning searching for her ring. I was so worried that she thought I stole her ring since she was so “sure she left it on my dining room table”. So inconsiderate that still to this day, I can’t even believe it happened, and it’s been almost a year since all this happened. Do not use this company. There are way better companies out there. I would have switched to another company but this was very unexpected and would have needed to get another referral from my doctor and I just didn’t have the energy.
November 04 · Taylor LambI recently had a total knee replacement. SeaCrest Home Health took care of my medical and physical therapy needs for several weeks. My caregiver Christina Brown did a fantastic job. She was well informed and a joy to work with. Thanks again Christina.
