This facility is classified as a Home health care service, Medical supply store, and Oxygen equipment supplier, signifying its role in delivering essential Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and related services.
The core mission of Apria Healthcare is focused on improving the quality of life for its patients at home. The services are generally physician-supervised, focusing on skilled nursing or medical care and the provision of necessary respiratory, sleep, and other critical medical equipment. This model is especially valuable for California residents managing chronic conditions like COPD or sleep apnea, or those needing wound care and nutritional support, as it aims to bridge the gap between hospital care and independent living.
The Apria Healthcare branch is conveniently located in Santa Fe Springs, making it a key resource for patients and caregivers in Southern California. The specific address helps local customers with logistics for picking up equipment or supplies, if required, although a significant part of their service model often involves delivery.
For patients and their families accessing the physical location, the facility is situated at:

Crucially, accessibility is prioritized at this location to ensure ease of use for individuals with mobility challenges. The facility provides:

These features are vital for a medical supply and service provider, reinforcing their commitment to serving all members of the community, especially those who rely on mobility aids for daily movement. Office hours typically run Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, providing reliable daytime service for administrative needs, inquiries, or equipment consultations.
Apria Healthcare is known for offering a comprehensive suite of home health care services and products, focusing heavily on respiratory and sleep-related therapies, but also extending to other complex medical needs. For California patients, access to this wide range of essential equipment and clinical support is a critical component of their ongoing care plan.
The primary services provided by Apria Healthcare generally include:
- Home respiratory services, including inhalation therapies and nebulizers.
- Oxygen therapy equipment and supplies, such as oxygen concentrators and cylinders.
- Sleep apnea treatment, encompassing CPAP, BiPAP machines, masks, and resupply programs.
- Wound care supplies and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) equipment.
- Diabetes care supplies, including Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) and insulin pumps through related entities.

Several key features distinguish Apria Healthcare's offering to its patient base in California. These aspects speak to their operational scale, commitment to clinical standards, and patient support infrastructure:

- Acceptance of Various Payment Methods: The facility accepts both Credit cards and Debit cards for convenience in purchasing supplies or managing patient responsibility portions of billing.

Choosing a medical equipment provider is a critical decision for managing health at home. For California residents, Apria Healthcare represents a large, established entity with a wide variety of essential medical equipment and clinical programs, particularly in respiratory and sleep care. The company’s size and presence in the healthcare network mean they often work closely with major insurance providers and physician groups throughout the state, potentially streamlining the process for obtaining physician-prescribed durable medical equipment.
The dedication to accessible facilities—such as the wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking at the Santa Fe Springs location—shows a foundational understanding of the needs of their patient base. Furthermore, the breadth of services, including dedicated programs for sleep apnea and oxygen therapy, means patients can often consolidate their equipment and resupply needs with one major provider. While it is important for potential users to be aware of mixed customer service experiences and to advocate clearly for correct billing and timely delivery, the sheer scope of their offerings and accreditation underscores their position as a significant and potentially vital option for home healthcare support in the California region.
Patients are advised to maintain open communication, keep meticulous records of their orders and communications, and verify their insurance coverage details with both Apria Healthcare and their insurer to ensure a smooth service experience. This proactive approach can help maximize the benefits of using a large-scale provider for critical, ongoing home medical needs.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I wish i could give zero stars. For starters delivery was never scheduled on date given. When i called costumer service i was sent to a supervisor in escalations. She was extremely rude and confrontational. The delivery driver threatened to "bump us to the bottom of the list" if delivery instructions were not followed. Problem is no delivery instructions were given. When speaking to said supervisor we were given the run around. Long story short if you or your loved ones are able please do not use this service provider. Apria do better. This is unacceptable.
September 09 · Melissa RodriguezSo this order was for my husband Michael Gonzalez. We are completely unsatisfied with your service. First off we received email so he can sign the agreement and submit it so order can be shipped out. He signed it on Thurs but all the way til Mon morning he received 4 email notices stating order was on hold until he signed and submitted the agreement. That same Mon afternoon my husband found the box in our driveway on the inside of our fence which means FedEx had to have thrown it over the fence because our fence is locked. So that could have damaged the equipment that was being delivered. Never did we receive any call or email notifying us of anything being shipped out if not we would have been able to keep a eye out for the delivery or make sure our fence was unlocked so the package wouldn’t be thrown over the fence. Oh and that’s not the end of it. Whoever package it did a horrible job. We received the box open and the tape it did have was only holding down one side of one flap and one itty bitty piece of corner of the other flap, the rest of the tape was stuck to itself so the box was completely open so whatever came in the box could have easily fell out. I had to call customer service to let them know and he asks me if everything is in the box, Umm how am I supposed to know what came in the box or what didn’t. Luckily everything was in there. So now tell me why now it’s Tues the day after he received the order and he gets another email of notice #5 stating he has to sign the agreement so order can be shipped and then I scroll down and see another email saying that the order has shipped and it’s on the way. I clicked on the tracking oh tell me why this was for yesterday’s delivery. Come on Apria get it together. This is medical equipment for patients and should be packaged correctly and with some type or padding in the box. Make sure you confirm deliveries with your patients. This type of care and service is not what is supposed to be provided to patients. If I could give NO stars I would because this is definitely unacceptable.
September 30 · Cindy LiceaI called on a Thursday to have oxygen equipment picked up. They scheduled the pick-up for the following Tuesday between 4:30 PM and 8:30 PM. I canned at 8 PM on Tuesday to get an ETA. They said to calle back in 1 to 2 hours. I called back at 9 PM, and still couldn't get an ETA. I called at 10:30 PM and finally got an ETA of 12:45 AM. I said cancel the pick-up and reschedule for the next day with a 2 hour window. Got a call from the driver 15 minutes later saying he was on the way. I told him I was done for the night and skip it. Got the equipment picked up the next day. They said it would be between 3 PM and 5 PM. Driver arrived a bit after 6 PM. I'm glad I'm done with Apria, and hope I'll never need their services again. The drivers are pleasant, but the dispatchers are dreadful. I'm giving one star because the driver was pleasant.
August 26 · Mary PowersEver since my insurance switched my Supplier to Apria. I have had Billing issues. I never had to pay out as I have with Apria. The person that toke my order would tell me. How much I had to pay because my ins only covered 80%. So I had to pay before they would sent out the order. Then all of the sudden. I got a bill that I owed them for supplies.( It was because they want to automatically send you order with you ask for them or not). I had talked to a person regarding the bill I had. And had asked them if I owe any more that what they are billing me for. She told me No. I also told them not to send my anything unless I requested it. Now I got a bill from a collection company for. Orders the claim I owed back in October.. I need to hear the recording from my last time billing . I never recommend anyone trusting Apria. If you do keep records.
July 31 · Felix PonceIf you can avoid using them, please do. They are scammers. They keep shipping my husband supplies that he didn’t order, that don’t even work with his model of CPAP machine, and then continue charging us for them. When we call, they refuse to stop shipping things without consent. We are going to be reporting them and considering legal action because it’s obvious they do not care and are doing this to people intentionally.
