We contacted Assistance in Home Care to help with in home care for my 94 year old mom. Ramona & Matt came out to introduce themselves and explained their credentials & the various types of care services their company offers to its clients. They took the time to really listen to our family’s concerns & care needs for our mom.Ramona & Matt both met my mom and they were so sweet & kind to her. They were very understanding & listened to our needs that we were seeking for our mom and made a few suggestions which were really great! They assessed my mom & her personality and they recommended Sandra one of their caretakers. They felt she would be a great fit to help care for my mom and they were right!Sandra came out and she was so wonderful! She clicked immediately with my mom & she assisted my mom with her hygiene needs and changed all her bedding. She also painted my mom’s nails for her which put a smile on my mom’s face & made my mom feel very special. ❤️Unfortunately, due to my mom’s increasing need for additional ongoing care & certain family dynamics, we recently decided to seek a memory care home for my mom.Although we only had Assistance in Home Care for a short period of time I would highly recommend them if you or your loved one needs care. They went above and beyond for us and our mom. AIHC was even available to come out on such a short notice over the holidays when hospice care was unable to be there due to a shortage of employees. You can rest assured that if you decide to go with AIHC they will provide your loved one with the best care & caretakers! It gives one such peace of mind as a family member in charge knowing that AIHC are there for you & your loved one. Their employees are such caring, compassionate & qualified people that put the clients best interest at hand!We have put AIHC care on hold for right now since we will be moving my mom into a memory care home. Should we ever need in home care again I will certainly be calling AIHC. They provide exceptional care & service and they put their clients best interests at hand! Thank you so much AIHC & thank you to your exceptional staff Sandra, Saran & Susan for being there for us and my mom! Having you help us out with our loved one made life a bit less stressful and for that we are very grateful to all of you! ❤️ - Wendy Fahrion

Assistance In Home Care Introduce

For residents across Southern California, and specifically throughout the Orange County region, finding truly dependable and deeply compassionate in-home care for a loved one is a priority. Assistance In Home Care (AIHC), based in Garden Grove, stands out as a locally rooted agency dedicated to providing a full spectrum of non-medical home health services, aged care, and disability support. Their mission centers on enabling seniors, individuals with disabilities, and even children, to live safely, comfortably, and with dignity in the familiarity of their own homes.

AIHC understands that care needs are highly personal and often complex, which is why they offer an extensive menu of services ranging from simple companion care to complex, 24-hour live-in support. The agency's commitment to quality is evident in its personalized approach, beginning with a thorough, complimentary in-home evaluation to assess the client's specific needs, personality, and family dynamics. This thoughtful intake process is designed to ensure a "great fit" between the client and the dedicated caregiver, fostering a professional yet familial relationship that is crucial for successful long-term care.

This dedication is underscored by the company’s ownership and community focus. Assistance In Home Care proudly identifies as both a Latino-owned and women-owned business, bringing a diverse and empathetic perspective to the caregiving industry. Furthermore, they actively foster an inclusive environment, being identified as both LGBTQ+ friendly and a Transgender safespace, making them a welcoming choice for all members of the California community seeking care.

Client feedback consistently highlights the agency's swift responsiveness and the exceptional quality of their caregivers. As one family member noted, the co-owners, Ramona and Matt, took the time to "really listen" to their concerns for their 94-year-old mother. Their successful recommendation of a specific caretaker, Sandra, who immediately "clicked" with the mother, illustrates the value of their careful assessment and matching process. This personalized attention, which included going "above and beyond" by painting the client's nails to make her "feel very special," showcases the emotional depth and holistic focus of the care provided.

AIHC also demonstrated remarkable reliability during critical times, providing care on short notice over the holidays when other services, like hospice, faced employee shortages. This kind of dependability offers tremendous peace of mind to family members responsible for their loved ones' care, cementing AIHC's reputation as a reliable and high-quality provider in Orange County.
