Star World Home Health Care Introduce
For residents across Van Nuys and the greater San Fernando Valley area in California, receiving quality, skilled health services within the familiarity and comfort of one's own home is a cornerstone of effective recovery and long-term health management. Star World Home Health Care Services, Inc. is a local home health agency dedicated to providing a broad spectrum of medical and personal care solutions. Home health care, by definition, encompasses a wide range of services for an illness or injury that can be administered at a patient's residence, often following a discharge from a hospital or skilled nursing facility. This localized approach is specifically designed for homebound patients, allowing them to focus on healing and regaining independence without the logistical burdens of external appointments.
Star World Home Health Care Services aims to deliver skilled and personal home health care solutions tailored to the unique circumstances and clinical needs of each individual. Their commitment is to offer client-centered services based on a physician-approved care plan, ensuring that the level of care medically best suits the patient and their family. The agency's mission emphasizes the use of trained and certified professionals in their respective areas of expertise to work collaboratively with patients and families to meet specific health and recovery goals. For Los Angeles County residents, this means access to high-level clinical services and rehabilitation support directly where they live.
The importance of reliable and consistent care cannot be overstated when dealing with post-acute recovery or chronic condition management. While Star World Home Health Care Services offers a comprehensive suite of vital home health services—which we will detail—it is essential for California users to note the available feedback from real customers. Some reviews point to significant issues with service reliability, including missed or late appointments, and challenges in securing consistent nursing visits, particularly for critical needs like wound care. Prospective clients and their families are strongly encouraged to use the contact information provided to establish clear expectations regarding scheduling, care consistency, and responsiveness to urgent medical needs before initiating services. This due diligence is crucial for ensuring a safe and successful experience with any home health provider in the area.

Star World Home Health Care Services offers a wide range of essential, client-centered services. These medical and rehabilitative services are typically covered by Medicare and other insurance plans when deemed medically necessary by a physician for a homebound patient. The provision of these services in the home setting is key to helping patients recover and manage complex conditions efficiently and comfortably.
- Skilled Nursing: A skilled nurse performs a variety of duties to provide care and comfort for patients requiring medical services. This includes clinical assessments, monitoring vital signs, medication management, wound care, and performing simple or complex nursing tasks as required by the physician-approved care plan.
- Physical Therapy: A licensed physical therapist assists the patient's physician in evaluating the patient's current functional ability. They set realistic treatment goals for rehabilitation, focusing on improving mobility, strength, balance, and reducing pain.
- Occupational Therapy: An Occupational Therapist assists in evaluating the patient's functional, motor, perceptual-motor, and sensory-integrative ability. This therapy helps patients relearn and adapt to perform daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Speech Therapy: The Speech Pathologist conducts a diagnostic evaluation of the patient's speech, language status, and swallowing abilities. They then formulate a comprehensive treatment plan to address communication disorders and swallowing difficulties.
- Medical Social Worker: Medical Social Workers provide valuable services that include training in case management, counseling, and care coordination. They help assess the psycho-social factors related to the patient’s illness and connect families with necessary community resources and support systems.
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA): A home health aide assists in providing nursing care by performing simple unskilled nursing tasks. This includes assistance with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and ambulation, all under the supervision of a licensed nurse or therapist.
- Companion Care: This service provides essential companionship and safety supervision for the client at home, addressing the social and emotional well-being of the patient.
The agency’s professional structure and offered specialties provide several key features and highlights for prospective clients in the Southern California area.
- Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services: The provision of all three major therapies—Physical, Occupational, and Speech—under one roof allows for coordinated and holistic rehabilitation planning.
- Skilled and Personal Care Integration: The service model blends high-level Skilled Nursing with Certified Home Health Aide and Companion Care to address both medical necessities and daily living support.
- Physician-Approved Care Plans: All services are client-centered and provided strictly based on a care plan approved by the patient's primary physician, ensuring medical necessity and continuity of care.
- Accessibility: The company maintains an office location with a wheelchair accessible entrance and parking lot, facilitating ease of access for patients and their caregivers.
- Medicare-Certified Home Health Agency: As a licensed Home Health Agency (HHA), the services are structured to meet state and federal standards, making them typically eligible for coverage under Medicare and other health plans for homebound patients.
- Local Van Nuys Presence: Serving the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles County from a convenient central location.

Star World Home Health Care Reviews
Terrible service. Unreliable not on time. Skip appointments, don't provide what they promise.
June 23 · ISRAEL HIRSCHMy aunt is supposed to have a nurse 3 times a week and we have called them regarding an open wound she had and they take no care of it, come visit on THEIR times, it's like pulling teeth trying to have a nurse come and look at it, we're lucky if a nurse comes once a week. Their physical therapist comes visit far more than the nurse that's supposed to check on her and make sure she's okay.
June 11 · Tiffny BuieIt's okay not as detailed as I thought.
